About This Role
Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Mathematics across the secondary phase (Key Stages 3–5), ensuring strong academic progress, positive student engagement, and alignment with the British curriculum and KHDA expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons in line with the British curriculum, ensuring excellent student progress and attainment.
Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and resources that meet curriculum standards and KHDA requirements.
Monitor, assess, and report on student achievement, using data to inform teaching and provide targeted intervention.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations, behaviour for learning, and student wellbeing.
Contribute to curriculum development, moderation, and continuous improvement of the Maths department.
Provide academic support through tutorials, revision sessions, and enrichment activities, including exam preparation.
Engage with parents through meetings, reports, and school events to support student progress and achievement.
Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and whole-school initiatives.
Support school policies, safeguarding practices, and inspection readiness in line with KHDA standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (mandatory); PGCE/B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience teaching Secondary Maths within a British curriculum school.
UAE/GCC teaching experience preferred

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
