Job Description

Northern Star Academies Trust seek to recruit the very best people to work across our Trust Partnership. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Maths teacher. The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the academic, pastoral and social life of the school, to act as personal tutor and to take part in the school's programme of professional development. We have a fantastic team of staff, and you will be fully supported by an experienced Curriculum Leader, all of whom share a vision of effective teaching and learning founded on collaborative planning, assessment and instruction, and who help each other to continually improve practice. We have an open-door culture and reflective ethos where we use lesson study to learn from each other all the time.  

About You 

We are seeking a well-qualified, lively, highly motivated specialist and innovative thinker to further strengthen the provision in the Maths faculty.

You will be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and personalisation strategies. You will be confident in your abilities to teach effectively at all key stages and a specialism in Maths is essential. You will be adept in creating a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for students of all diverse backgrounds. 

This is a full-time role working 8.40am until 3.40pm, Monday to Friday.

Compensation

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
