About This Role

If so, then St Gilgen International School is looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Music (general / vocal) to contribute to the future growth of our amazing school. Note, this position is offered as a 75% contract with significant opportunities for additional private teaching and performance opportunities here in St. Gilgen, and the greater Salzburg area. In addition to the teaching aspects of the vacancy, this position is also associated with Intstrumental Teaching Programme (ITP) Coordination, which involves overseeing the ITP provision and lessons, and for which a small time allocation is provided (full job overview available on request).

The successful candidate will be an excellent and innovative classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching Music across the full school age range. Experience of teaching IB Middle Years Programme would be especially relevant and valuable. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to all aspects of learning within our 24/7 boarding school environment, including co-curricular activities, student mentoring and boarding house care; this does include some evening and weekend commitments.
