The role:


As a Teacher of Physics, your focus will be to:

  • Lead initiatives to boost student participation and school spirit.

  • Support enrichment activities and school events.

  • Strengthen parental engagement through clear communication and progress updates.

  • Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and effective lessons.

  • Foster creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking.

  • Use data-driven strategies to support diverse learning needs.

  • Integrate digital tools to enhance learning experiences.

  • Serve as a Form Tutor and contribute to the IB curriculum.

  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans.

  • Ensure rigorous assessment and timely feedback.

  • Contribute to curriculum innovation and quality assurance.

  • Engage in continuous professional learning.

  • Reflect on practice to improve teaching effectiveness.

  • Uphold school values and contribute to a positive school culture.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

  • Experience of delivering a UK National Curriculum in the UK or overseas.

  • Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in.

  • Compliance with visa requirements for working, including a minimum bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of working experience as a teacher, as well as non-criminal records valid for the last 10 years.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
