Job Role
The role requires a high level of professional accountability to ensure effective lesson planning, accurate assessment of student progress, and the consistent delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3-5. The post holder will be expected to maintain strong academic standards, support examination readiness, and contribute to whole-school responsibilities in accordance with school policies and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons aligned with the British Curriculum (Biology/Physics specialism preferred).
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners and promote inclusive practices.
Assess, track, and report on student progress using data to inform instruction.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student wellbeing.
Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and STEM initiatives.
Collaborate with colleagues and engage positively with parents and the wider school community.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science (relevant specialism) and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience teaching Secondary Science within a British Curriculum school (UAE experience desirable but not essential).
Strong subject knowledge and proven track record of student achievement.
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
Experience teaching KS5 / A-Level.
Ability to lead extracurricular science clubs, competitions, or STEM projects.

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
