Job Detail

South View School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Teacher of English to join our supportive department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to enhance the educational experience of our students and contribute to a thriving school community.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be passionate about teaching and learning

  • Have experience teaching English at GCSE and possibly A Level

  • Possess strong pastoral skills and experience in supporting students’ wellbeing and development

  • Use data effectively to inform teaching and support student progress

  • Have an understanding of how to support students with additional learning needs

  • Hold a recognised degree and a recognised teaching qualification

  • A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
  • Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
