About This Role

Where teachers can teach and student learn

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Järfälla is now recruiting the very best teachers to start in early August 2026 and we are seeking qualified teachers in mathematics, science, art, textiles, woodwork, home economics, music and physical education to join our fantastic working environment. Please note we are not looking to recruit English teachers at this time.


The Role

IES is a highly successful school group in Sweden with staff and students from all over the world contributing to a dynamic international atmosphere. Our schools follow the Swedish national curriculum and are bilingual with 50% of teaching in Swedish and 50% in English.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher in mathematics, science, art, textiles, woodwork, home economics, music, or physical education.

What We Offer

IES employs teachers from around the world and for over 25 years has helped our teachers to obtain the right to live and work in Sweden. Needing a visa in Europe may be new for you, but we are experts in applying for work permits. IES will support you every step of the way.

Applicants will be interviewed for vacancies at IES Järfälla and also all our 47 IES schools across Sweden. There may be positions in another school for teachers of different subjects, so if part of a teaching couple, please both submit an application.

Compensation

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
