About This Role

Bertrum House Nursery is a welcoming and inclusive early years setting based Balham/Tooting Bec, dedicated to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children. We are currently seeking a Temporary Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Nursery Assistant to join our team and support the development and well-being of our children.

Role Overview:
As a Temporary LSA / Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with qualified staff to assist in delivering engaging activities that promote children's learning and development. This role requires enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting young children’s growth within a nurturing environment. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. Each morning, will be working alongside a three year old child with Kniest Dysplasia to ensure they are safe, independent and supported in their learning environment. You will support our teachers more generally in the afternoons with learning activities and preparation.

Skills and Qualifications:
- No prior experience necessary; willingness to learn on the job essential
- Good communication skills with both children and adults
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of child development is an advantage but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to working hours

Compensation

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
