Waiheke Primary has a stable roll, experienced staff, supportive whānau and an engaged board. We are looking for a principal to shape our emerging strategic direction, strengthen culturally responsive practice, and lift student achievement through high-quality teaching and learning.

This role calls for a leader who thrives in a connected community— visible, relational and deeply committed to people.

We are seeking a principal to:

• Lead with strong relational practice, building trust and a positive, inclusive school culture
• Drive excellence in teaching and learning, particularly in literacy and numeracy, within a rich and engaging curriculum
• Ensure equity and inclusion are at the centre, with strong systems for supporting diverse ākonga
• Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action, strengthening partnerships with mana whenua and embedding te reo me ōna tikanga 
• Provide clear, strategic leadership and prudently manage resources

Our tamariki want a principal who values outdoor learning, creativity, sport and fun.
