  • Excellent understanding of the age-related development of students in the Upper School.

  • Proven ability to improve learning outcomes of all students particularly Language and Learning students.

  • Proven ability to differentiate teaching to meet learners’ needs.

  • Ability to manage a team.

  • Ability to show strategic leadership in line with the school improvement plan.

  • At least 8 years teaching experience.

  • Experience of leading or coordinating teams in relation to curriculum or pastoral matters.

  • Prior senior leadership experience, preferably in a pastoral role (If not prior SLT experience, would need to demonstrate exceptional pastoral leadership impact and leadership capacity).

  • Bachelor of Education or Subject Degree with relevant teaching qualification e.g. PGCE plus Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).

  • Substantial professional development which is relevant to the post and recent.

Desirable:

  • Experience of coaching practice and methodology, preferably formal and with some accreditation.

  • Experience of successfully initiating and driving whole school change.

  • NPQSL or equivalent.

  • Masters in Educational Leadership.

Compensation

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
