Ability to show strategic leadership in line with the school improvement plan.
At least 8 years teaching experience.
Experience of leading or coordinating teams in relation to curriculum or pastoral matters.
Prior senior leadership experience, preferably in a pastoral role (If not prior SLT experience, would need to demonstrate exceptional pastoral leadership impact and leadership capacity).
Bachelor of Education or Subject Degree with relevant teaching qualification e.g. PGCE plus Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).
Substantial professional development which is relevant to the post and recent.
Desirable:
Experience of coaching practice and methodology, preferably formal and with some accreditation.
Experience of successfully initiating and driving whole school change.
NPQSL or equivalent.
Masters in Educational Leadership.
