Situated on the Stratford High School grounds with a stunning view of Maunga Taranaki, Koru Kindergarten is a unique Kindergarten that serves both the local community and the Teen Parent Unit (TPU) whānau.
It is the largest teaching team in the Taranaki Kindergartens rohe and a mixed-age service. The teaching team prioritises immersive nature-based curriculum, highlighted by weekly farm walks where children engage with the land, feed local eels, and cook meals outdoors.
Koru provides a KidsCan Kindergarten and provides a full meal service for all children.
This is a fulltime role, worked 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.
This is a fixed-term role to cover parental leave to commence asap and finish on 7 April 2027.
