About the School & Role
Trinity Private School, based in Limassol, is a recognized IB World School that provides both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Laboratory Technician / Science Teacher to enhance the practical science education experience in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
The successful candidate will ensure the laboratory operates efficiently and safely, providing well-equipped facilities while promoting inquiry-based learning in line with IB standards.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Preparation & Support
• Prepare and test equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons (MYP & DP).
• Assist teachers and students during laboratory sessions, including IB Internal Assessments (IAs).
• Aid in the development of laboratory procedures that align with IB requirements.
Health & Safety
• Ensure the safe handling, storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals.
• Maintain safety documentation, conduct risk assessments, and manage MSDS records.
• Promote a robust safety culture within the Science Department.
Equipment & Resource Management
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment; arrange servicing as required.
• Oversee the procurement, inventory, and storage of laboratory supplies.
• Ensure laboratory spaces are organized and fully operational.
Teaching Support (if applicable)
• Deliver or co-teach select MYP or DP science lessons as needed.
• Support initiatives that promote inquiry-based and experimental learning.
• Participate in curriculum planning as appropriate.
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Previous laboratory experience, preferably in an educational environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory health and safety regulations.
Advantage:
• A teaching qualification or classroom experience.
• Familiarity with IB MYP and/or DP.
Skills:
• Proficiency in Greek language.

• Computer literacy (MS Office, inventory systems, digital platforms).
Working Hours:
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
