About the Role

Working closely with the Head of School and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and securing the highest standards of educational provision.

You will provide strategic leadership and operational management across the school, supporting the Headteacher in securing the highest standards of achievement, wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development for all students. The Deputy Headteacher will play a key role in leadership, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the school, ensuring that policies, systems, and practice contribute effectively to the school's vision and priorities.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented leader who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status and degree-level qualifications.
  • Has substantial senior leadership experience and a successful track record of whole-school improvement.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Has experience of analysing and using data to drive improvement.
  • Is passionate about raising standards and improving life chances for young people.
  • Can inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels.
  • Has the vision, resilience and determination to help lead our school on its journey to becoming Outstanding.
  • Shares our values of collaboration, accountability, respect and continuous improvement.
