Founded in 1972 in the United Kingdom, Nord Anglia reflects its origins in the north of England. Initially, NAE provided educational services like English-as-a-foreign-language classes and expanded in the 1980s by establishing full-scale nurseries and kindergartens. In 1992, NAE launched its first international school, the British School of Warsaw. In the 2000s, the organization shifted its focus to premium international schools, experiencing rapid growth in Asia, the Americas, China, Europe, and the Middle East. A truly global entity, NAE now operates premium international schools around the world. In July 2019, the company relocated its headquarters from Hong Kong to London, facilitating further growth.
