About This Role

An exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher to support our growing SEND and Inclusion Outreach Service by delivering high-quality teaching across our schools while specialist colleagues provide training, coaching and consultancy to the wider education community.

Outreach Cover Teacher (SEND) - Part-time (0.6 FTE / 3 days per week)

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and adaptable teacher to join our specialist team as an Outreach Cover Teacher (SEND).

This exciting new role will support the development of our growing outreach training and school improvement offer. Working across our schools, you will provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for pupils when specialist staff are delivering training, coaching, consultancy, mentoring, and school improvement support to other schools and professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher who is passionate about SEND, inclusion, and improving outcomes for children and young people with additional needs.


The Role

The successful candidate will:

Provide high-quality classroom teaching across our schools.
Deliver engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning for pupils.
Work closely with school leaders and specialist staff to ensure smooth arrangements when colleagues are engaged in outreach activities.
Adapt quickly to different classes, pathways, age groups, and learning needs.
Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
Contribute to our culture of inclusion and high expectations.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Is a qualified teacher with successful classroom experience.
Has a strong commitment to inclusive education and SEND.
Is flexible, organised, and able to work confidently across different settings.
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management skills.
Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Has high expectations for every learner.
Is enthusiastic about supporting professional learning and school improvement.


Experience within specialist education, SEND settings, or inclusive mainstream provision would be advantageous but is not essential.

Compensation

£39,195.00 - £52,240.00 Annually (FTE) Main Scale (£23,517 - £31,344 pro rata actual)
