About This Role

The British School Yangon is on the lookout for an outstanding Music teacher to become a part of our committed team. We seek a passionate individual who can create and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, inspire, and challenge students of all abilities, up to A level. At BSY, we foster a vibrant enthusiasm for music, presenting a fantastic opportunity to enhance our robust music program. Our facilities include four specialized teaching rooms and eleven individual practice rooms, providing an excellent environment for musical education.

In addition to instructional duties, you will be expected to positively impact the school’s pastoral care and extracurricular offerings, leading an activity that either supports or expands students' learning in music or another area of personal interest.

About you

You will be a qualified teacher, fluent in English, with experience in implementing the British curriculum. You will uphold high expectations for yourself and your students, dedicated to crafting personalized, innovative, and creative learning experiences. Strong communication skills will enable you to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to cultivate a learning environment that strives for educational excellence. You are eager to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our curriculum and possess excellent subject knowledge along with a minimum of two years of teaching experience.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
