Tiny Explorers in Warkworth is seeking a confident and motivated centre manager to lead our dedicated and capable teaching team. Our centre is purpose-built, welcoming, and deeply connected to our local community. We are proud of the strength, professionalism, and collaboration within our team and are looking for a leader who can build on this solid foundation.
We are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education grounded in Te Whāriki, respectful practice, and meaningful learning experiences that nurture children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
We are looking for a leader who:
- Is passionate about quality pedagogy and continuous improvement
- Has proven leadership experience within ECE
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with children, whānau, and staff
- Can mentor and inspire an already capable and established team
- Has sound knowledge of Te Whāriki, licensing criteria, and ERO expectations
- Is confident in centre operations, compliance, and team management
- Leads with integrity, warmth, and professionalism
The successful applicant will hold a NZQA-approved ECE qualification, current full teacher registration, and a current First Aid certificate.
