Certified Kaiako (1-2 year olds)

We are seeking a passionate teacher who prides themselves in delivering high-quality care.

We have five classrooms with five to six teachers per room and are looking for certified teacher. Our opening hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm and we are nestled in the heart of Glen Eden.

Our teaching team is supportive and collaborative with a strong sense of whanaungatanga and fun. We are a progressive centre and constantly challenge ourselves to grow and improve. We provide a strong mentoring system to support kaiako with teacher certification.

The role:

This is a permanent 35–40-hour role within our 1-2-year-old room. You will work closely alongside the Room Leader to ensure our tamariki receive the highest quality care and education. Our ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with at least some prior experience in New Zealand early childhood education, importantly, a strong understanding of Te Whāriki, and the ability to create a warm, welcoming learning environment. Above all, you will bring a genuine passion for working with our tamariki.

About you

• You are a qualified and registered ECE teacher with proven experience in New Zealand early childhood education.
• You are a strong communicator and collaborative team player, committed to fostering positive, respectful relationships with colleagues, tamariki, and whānau.
• You are aligned with our centre’s philosophy and share our vision of creating a best-in-class centre for our tamariki.
