About This Role
Park House English School is one of the oldest and most prestigious British schools in Doha, Qatar. Founded in 1994 by Mrs. Heather Brennan, we are celebrating our 32nd year of providing outstanding educational provision. The school has a long history of exceptional success, and we are looking to appoint an outstanding Chemistry Teacher-Local Hire for a short term cover (between 2-4 months) to join our highly committed team of professionals.
The Role
The successful candidate must be able to teach Chemistry up to A Level and will be part of the Science Department. The candidate should also be prepared to teach across all Key Stages if required. Experience in teaching GCSE or within the British Curriculum is highly desirable. A recognised teaching qualification and a degree in the subject being taught are essential requirements.
The postholder will be expected to fulfil all the responsibilities of a Secondary School Teacher, including serving as a Form Tutor, offering extra-curricular opportunities, attending planning and professional development meetings after school, and participating in school events as required. Please note that TEFL/CELTA qualifications are not accepted.
