ECE Teacher

Due to one of our valued teachers relocating, Abacus Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated, qualified and registered teacher to join our close-knit team for a full-time position.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a Montessori-inspired environment that values respectful, child-led practice and supports tāmariki through their natural development. We are a small, family-owned centre, deeply committed to providing a nurturing, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared environment for our tāmariki.

We are looking for an ECE kaiako who:

• Values Montessori philosophy and a respectful, unhurried approach to care
• Understands the importance of strong, authentic relationships with tāmariki, whānau and the local community
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and effective communication skills
• Is committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
• Is collaborative, flexible and contributes positively to team culture
• Holds provisional or full teacher registration
• Has NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
