Are you ready to help redefine what secondary education can look like for neurodivergent learners?
Encompass Education Hub, supported by Autism New Zealand, is seeking passionate, reflective teachers to join our specialist secondary teams in Auckland and Wellington.
We are committed to creating a neuro‑affirming environment where dignity, sensory safety, and genuine student agency shape every part of the learning day.
This role is ideal for teachers who value creativity, relationships, and highly personalised learning. You will help design and deliver learning that celebrates neurodivergent strengths and supports each student’s individual pathway across one of our two hubs.
About you:
You are a registered teacher who values equity, respect, and the legitimacy of neurodivergent experience. You bring a commitment to neuro‑affirming and trauma‑informed practice, curiosity about student perspectives, a growth mindset, and a relational, creative approach to teaching.
Please state your subject specialisations in your application, as we are seeking a diverse team across learning areas.
Why Encompass?
This is a unique opportunity to teach in a school designed to celebrate neurodivergent identity. You will help build a vibrant learning community where legitimacy, agency, joy, and connection are central to how we learn and grow together.
