Ace Education Manchester is a specialist SEMH Alternative Provision for pupils aged 11ā16 and forms part of the Angel Meadow School group, a growing specialist education provider across Manchester and Salford. Our pupils often present with SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance and disrupted educational experiences. We provide highly personalised small-group teaching, mentoring and structured support to re-engage pupils in education and help them achieve meaningful qualifications.
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver engaging and accessible English lessons to very small groups of pupils (typically 3ā4 per class). The successful candidate will value a relationship-led approach, strong boundaries and a calm, structured environment that prioritises progress and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons across KS3 and KS4
⢠Teach Functional Skills and GCSE pathways where appropriate
⢠Support pupils to rebuild literacy confidence and close gaps in learning
⢠Adapt teaching to meet SEMH and SEND needs
⢠Use structured, consistent and relational approaches to promote engagement
⢠Track, assess and report on pupil progress
⢠Work closely with mentors and support staff to personalise learning
⢠Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and wellbeing
⢠Contribute to enrichment and wider provision activities
