Committed to fostering a positive and supportive educational community, a KCD teacher embraces the 21 key commitments, including teamwork, confidentiality, and prioritises the wellbeing of both students and colleagues.

Curriculum

At Kent College we follow the British national curriculum, through to GCSE and A-level. Arabic and Moral Education are also core subjects in the curriculum across the age range, and we place a very high priority on the extra-curricular programme that complements the academic curriculum.

Creative Arts

We also understand the powerful influence that the creative and performing arts have on a pupil’s personal development and know that they help to complete the circle of experience and self-confidence that we look for in all our pupils. In the school’s impressive auditorium, concerts and drama productions involve performers across the whole school from Year 3 to Year 13, delightful year group productions in the Junior School reveal the talents of the future, and our dancers impress audiences with their confidence and musicality. Art and Design Technology are also given a high profile, and the work on display around the school proclaims the quality of teaching and the pupils’ ability.
