Job Overview
This role combines inquiry-based learning in Global Perspectives with EITHER IGCSE Business Studies or Key Stage 3 English, encouraging students to develop research, analysis, and real-world problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Global Perspectives (KS3) and Business Studies (IGCSE) or Key Stage 3 English
Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that promote critical thinking and global awareness
Prepare students for IGCSE assessments, including coursework and examinations
Monitor student progress and provide targeted feedback and support
Contribute to curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Education or a relevant bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant role at an international school
Recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent licence
Understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum
Native English speaker or excellent English proficiency both spoken and written
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning
Experience teaching IGCSE Business
