IB Maths Teacher

The Wingate School is looking to appoint an IB Diploma Programme Mathematics Teacher from August 2025.

Regarding the candidate, we are looking for: 

• First-language English speakers with knowledge and experience of the IB curriculum and examinations. Knowledge of IGCSE is a strong advantage.
• Sound teacher qualifications. PGCE or equivalent. 
• Full-time IB school teaching experience. 
• A cheerful, professional, hard-working and well-presented person, capable of inspiring confidence in pupils and parents. Please note the school's dress code does not allow visible piercings or tattoos. 
• An awareness of the demands of teaching in an international school and a commitment to fostering high academic achievement. 
• Good communication and ICT skills. 
• Commitment to the all-round ethos of the School, including its co-curricular activities and School of Character approach.
• A teacher who is happy to attend school events and student sports matches.
• A person excited about the prospect of living in Latin America.
