Collegio San Carlo is an independent Catholic School and one of Milan's historic educational institutions, having celebrated its 150th Anniversary in 2019. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a relatively new and small IB DP within a well-established school (K-yr 13 ) with a student body of nearly 2000 students.

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and qualified teacher to join our International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme team. The successful candidate will primarily teach Mathematics Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level, alongside IB Diploma Computer Science at both levels.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in IB Mathematics AA HL and Computer Science ensuring alignment with IB standards, assessment criteria, and syllabus requirements and considering individual student educational needs.
· Actively promote and model the IB Learner Profile and ATLs (approaches to learning).
· Assess student work using a variety of strategies, provide constructive feedback and prepare students for IB internal and external assessments.
· Support students through participation in the Advisory programme and provide personalised academic support and foster independent learning during tutorial supervision.
· Deliver skills development workshops to ensure students have the technical skills and knowledge they need for the IB Diploma Programme and beyond.
· Oversee Extended Essays in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, guiding students through research, methodology, and writing.
· Participate in parent-teacher meetings, progress reporting and collaborative planning with colleagues.
· Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development, and extracurricular activities as needed.
· Carry out administrative and organisational tasks related to the programme including for example, reporting, unit planning etc.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
· IB teaching certification or recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, or Italian equivalents).
· Proven experience teaching IB Mathematics AA HL and IB Computer Science (minimum 3 years preferred).
· Strong knowledge of IB Diploma Programme philosophy, assessment practices, and learner profile.
· Native English Speaker or C2 level English
· Eligibility to work in Italy/EU (e.g., EU citizenship, valid visa, or permesso di soggiorno) preferable.
