We are currently looking to appoint a KS1 Class Teacher to join us at Grange Park Preparatory School. This is a full-time teaching position starting in September 2026.
Located in Enfield, North London Grange Park Preparatory School and Nursery is a co-educational independent school for children aged 3 -11 years, which provides a broad and balanced education within a unique setting. We offer an individually focused education in a friendly environment, promoting excellence in learning and encouraging exceptional behaviour. It is a truly inclusive school with a unique family feel and offers small classes, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and experiences catered to the needs and interests of every child. The school has a strong family atmosphere and prepares pupils exceptionally well for schools of their choice at age 11+.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher who can inspire our pupils and deliver the highest standards of teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to making a positive impact across the school.
We would like to hear from you if you have the following qualifications and experience
· Qualified Teacher Status and evidence of ongoing professional development.
· The ability to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning to pupils within Key Stage 1.
· A talent for inspiring children with enthusiasm and a love of learning.
· A secure understanding of the national curriculum and its application within KS1.
· The ability to plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in your class.
· Experience in preparing and developing teaching materials, programmes of study, assessment methods, and pastoral support.
· A willingness to be fully involved in the wider life of the school and contribute to our extended offer.
Alongside your class teaching role, you will take on responsibility for coordinating Humanities across the school. This will include:
· Leading the development and progression of History and Geography within the curriculum.
· Ensuring curriculum coverage, continuity, and progression across year groups.
· Contributing to whole‑school initiatives and enrichment opportunities linked to humanities.
