Whangārei Boys’ High School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Mathematics and Science teacher to join our dedicated team.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for the 2026 school year, teaching across a range of year levels. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic practitioner who engages students through effective teaching practice and contributes positively to our school culture.
We are looking for a teacher who:
A strong commitment to restorative practices and culturally responsive and relational teaching approaches is essential.
Annual remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $62,862 to $105,686 in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA). Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
