Teacher of Mathematics

Capital School Bahrain is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our growing secondary team.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-Level Mathematics as the school expands its post-16 provision. This role would suit a strong classroom practitioner who is passionate about mathematics education and raising student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4
Planning well-sequenced lessons aligned to the English National Curriculum
Supporting strong student progress and attainment, including IGCSE outcomes
Using assessment effectively to inform teaching and intervention
Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and high expectations
Working collaboratively within the Mathematics department and wider school team
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Experience teaching the English National Curriculum and IGCSE Mathematics
Effective classroom practice and strong behaviour management
A commitment to inclusive practice and student wellbeing
Experience or interest in A-Level Mathematics (desirable)
