Key Stage 1 Teacher

Capital School Bahrain is seeking to appoint a caring, committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our growing Primary team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner with a strong understanding of the English National Curriculum to contribute to a supportive and child-centred learning environment that prioritises high standards, wellbeing, and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 1
Planning engaging, well-sequenced lessons aligned to the English National Curriculum
Supporting pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and wellbeing
Using assessment effectively to inform teaching and support next steps
Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school teams
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and age-related expectations
A nurturing, child-focused approach with high expectations for learning and behaviour
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
