About you

• A recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current teacher registration. 

• A warm communication style and the ability to build strong relationships. 

• A proactive spirit and integrity.

• A genuine heart for working with infants and a deep understanding of respectful care practices. 

• Te Whāriki guides your daily practice and inspires fresh ideas. 

• Digital confidence and able to pick up systems quickly.
  
  

The mahi

• Use Te Whāriki as your base to plan and guide educational and developmental journeys.

• Capture and share high-quality assessments so every child's unique progress is celebrated. 

• Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere.

• Foster a safe, nurturing environment for infants, focusing on respectful interactions and emotional security. 

• Work closely with families to integrate home routines into the nursery setting.

• Build positive relationships across the team.
