Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, foster critical thinking, and cultivate a passion for learning.
- Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes and nurtures individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all students, including EAL learners, those who are gifted, and those requiring additional assistance.
- Utilize technology and innovative strategies to enhance learning experiences and student engagement.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, using data to inform instructional practices and tailored support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that align with IB standards.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and the wider community to support student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and self-reflection to improve teaching effectiveness.
