Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Secondary English department ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Develop curriculum plans that meet international standards and cater to diverse student needs.
- Support and mentor teachers within the department to promote professional growth.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with school leadership on strategic planning related to the English curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English or Education (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in secondary education with proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of international curricula relevant to secondary English education.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire both staff and students towards achieving educational excellence.
- Proficient in using technology as a tool for enhancing learning experiences.
