About This Role
About Saint Too Bloom Academy
Saint Too Bloom Academy is a new secondary school in Hong Kong dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship, and bilingual education. Designed by a team of passionate educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs, our mission is to prepare young people to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Since the establishment of our sister school, Bloom KKCA Academy, in 2021, we have pioneered bilingual, interdisciplinary, and project-based learning, forming partnerships across education, business, and social innovation sectors. In 2024, we expanded to our secondary campus, offering Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programs alongside a school-based Key Stage 3 curriculum. We have since launched two additional pathways—the HKDSE and a US-accredited project-based pathway—to serve diverse learners.
We now invite educators who are passionate about music and student empowerment to join us as we build a dynamic and inclusive music program for emerging students.
Position Overview
We seek a dynamic, enthusiastic, and talented Secondary Music Teacher. The successful candidate will be able to help students understand music not just as a subject of academic study, but as a way to understand themselves, and their world.
The successful candidate will teach across the age ranges from Grade 7 to 12 including Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A Level (CIE and Edexcel). They therefore need to have an established background in successfully preparing senior cohorts for external examinations.
Since our mission of cultivating compassionate creators and social entrepreneurs goes beyond the traditional curriculum, we are seeking teachers who are keen to develop new curriculum and adapt existing curriculum to integrate experiential learning, to purposefully adopt technology and more innovative pedagogies, such as project-based learning.
As an inclusive program serving a range of learners, the position will suit teachers who thrive in diverse classrooms and professionally collaborative cultures. The ability to differentiate, support individual learners, and teach music will be relevant and vital.
