Hauraki Plains College is more than a school – it is a place where young people are supported to be learning ready, work ready, life ready, and world ready.  We offer an educational experience built on care, connection and high expectations.

We are looking for a passionate chemistry specialist to join our team. This role involves teaching senior levels, so significant experience and confidence in delivering Year 12 and 13 chemistry is essential.

Our college enjoys a collaborative and supportive staff culture and is committed to our vision, Excellence is Our Tradition. Ongoing professional learning and development is an important part of how we grow and respond to the needs of our students and the wider education landscape.

This is a permanent teaching position. Ideally, the successful candidate would begin on Monday, 22nd of June 2026, however we are happy to discuss flexibility in start date with the chosen candidate.

Hauraki Plains is a great place to live and work, with a range of welcoming communities nearby. We are part of a strong community and have excellent connections with our local primary schools.
