About the Role

The Primary STEM Coordinator will lead the strategic development and implementation of STEM learning across the Primary School. The role involves:

  • Enhancing and aligning the STEM curriculum with the Cambridge Primary framework

  • Supporting teachers across year groups to integrate STEM principles into their teaching

  • Leading innovation, hands‑on learning, and cross‑curricular STEM initiatives

  • Promoting real‑world problem‑solving, creativity, and critical thinking

  • Developing enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, competitions and project weeks

The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, foster independent learning, and contribute to the school’s vision for academic excellence and innovation.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or Cambridge curriculum environment

  • Strong subject knowledge and evidence of expertise in STEM education

  • Proven ability to design engaging, practical, inquiry‑based learning experiences

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of contemporary STEM pedagogy and best practices

  • Ability to lead initiatives and support colleagues in curriculum development

  • Proficiency with educational technologies used in STEM learning

  • Confident in integrating digital tools and practical resources into teaching
