We are seeking a student support coordinator to support students with additional learning needs, working alongside teachers, students, and families to ensure every learner can thrive. Based at our Gore Campus.
About the role
This is a dynamic, relationship-focused position where you will:
Lead and coordinate support for students (Years 3–13)
Promote inclusive practices and effective differentiation
Develop and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Behaviour Plans (IBPs)
Support teachers to enhance student outcomes
Coordinate external agencies and funded support services
Oversee student support tracking, documentation, and reporting
Guide Student Support Assistants (SSAs)
Facilitate meetings with staff, students, and caregivers
You will play a key role in supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.
About you
You are a NZ registered teacher who:
Has a strong understanding of inclusive education
Builds positive, collaborative relationships
Is highly organised and confident managing systems and data
Can lead processes and follow through on actions
Is proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to student success
Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
Experience in student support or working with external agencies is advantageous.

Additional information
This is a teaching position requiring current NZ teacher registration, with no regular classroom teaching load. An additional responsibilities allowance will apply.
