Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English or related field
Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
Experience teaching British curriculum English (GCSE and A-Level)
Strong knowledge of historical periods, themes, and historiography
Experience in developing analytical and evaluative skills in students
Understanding of differentiated teaching strategies for diverse learners
Experience in using primary and secondary sources in teaching
Strong communication skills for engaging discussion-based learning
Knowledge of current history education methodologies and best practices
Experience in assessment and monitoring student progress in history
Ability to foster intercultural understanding through historical contexts
Experience organizing relevant trips and activities to enhance learning
