About This Role
Astra Academy International School, located in Thailand, is a leading educational institution committed to providing high-quality international education. We are currently seeking a dedicated Middle School Humanities and Geography Specialist to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach Humanities within the Middle School programme while leading the development of Geography across the Secondary School, including IGCSE and A Level.
Position: IGCSE and A Level Geography Specialist (Additionally able to teach Middle School Humanities)

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Education or a related field
Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience within a British or international curriculum
Strong knowledge of Humanities teaching at Middle School level
Experience teaching Geography at IGCSE and preferably to A Level
Ability to develop students’ understanding of global issues, environments and human systems
Ability to deliver engaging, challenging and conceptually rich lessons
Experience using inquiry-based, discussion-based and project-based learning approaches
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Experience in an international school environment is desirable
