Teacher of Mathematics Year 9-13

Mercury Bay Area School is a Year 1-13 school situated on the eastern Coromandel peninsula in Whitianga. We are searching for a student focused, collegial practitioner who has a passion for mathematics and can also teach science. 

The position offers the chance to teach fantastic ākonga in smaller class sizes in both the middle and senior mathematics areas of the school.

The successful candidate will be an innovative and enthusiastic NZ registered teacher who is committed to promoting high student achievement in our middle and senior years.

Applicants must be willing to assist the school in its vision for transformative learning through culturally responsive and relational pedagogy with a commitment to kaupapa of mana ōrite mō te mātauranga Māori
