Job Detail
Due to very high demand, and a growing 6th Form, we are looking to appoint a Teacher of Psychology and Sociology. This will form part of what we offer our 6th Form students at South View School, and we are very excited about this development.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning.
- Have experience in teaching psychology at GCSE and A Level
- Have experience in teaching Sociology at A Level
- Be willing to develop the programme to support the teaching of Sociology.
- Have a proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.
- Have very strong pastoral skills and experience in supporting students.
- Be able to use data to support student learning and progress.
- Hold a recognised degree with a recognised teaching qualification suitable for teaching this course.
- Be invested in self-improvement though engagement with the broad spectrum of CPD options available at South View School.
