Job Role
To support students’ academic, social, emotional, and career development across all phases (EYFS–KS5), promoting wellbeing and positive mental health within the school community.
Job Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling to support students’ emotional and social well-being.
Develop and implement a whole-school guidance and wellbeing program.
Support students with academic planning and goal setting.
Lead career guidance initiatives, including university and career pathways (where applicable).
Work closely with senior leadership, teachers, and parents to support student needs.
Identify and support students facing safeguarding or wellbeing concerns in line with UAE regulations.
Maintain accurate, confidential student records.
Deliver workshops on wellbeing, resilience, study skills, and personal development.
Contribute to safeguarding and child protection processes.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or related field
Relevant counselling certification/licensure
Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding frameworks
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work sensitively within a multicultural environment
Experience as a Careers Counsellor for Secondary school is desirable
