Car Driver - Staff

Job Purpose: To guarantee the secure, timely, and efficient transportation of school personnel while upholding rigorous standards of vehicle safety, cleanliness, and adherence to UAE regulations and school policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate the designated school light vehicle, in accordance with UAE traffic laws and school regulations.
• Follow established routes and schedules for staff pick-up and drop-off, ensuring punctuality is maintained.
• Ensure passengers adhere to safety protocols and exhibit appropriate behavior during transport.
• Assist in maintaining order and discipline within the vehicle.
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to verify roadworthiness and report any issues or maintenance requirements.
• Keep precise records, including route logs, time sheets, and reports on incidents or accidents.
• Ensure the vehicle is consistently clean, presentable, and well-maintained.
• Promptly report any accidents, delays, or incidents to the supervisor.
• Assist the transport team with operational needs, including special trips or school events.
• Adhere to all GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
• Attend meetings and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
