About This Role
Design and implement age-appropriate physical education lessons that align with both the school curriculum and national standards.
Instruct students in essential motor skills, fitness principles, and foundational sport-specific techniques.
Expose students to a wide range of physical activities, games, and sports to foster a lifelong commitment to fitness.
Tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and interests.
Ensure a safe and encouraging environment throughout all physical activities.
Utilize positive behavior management techniques to promote participation and teamwork.
Evaluate students’ physical skills, engagement, and development using established criteria.
Document assessment outcomes and offer constructive feedback to both students and their parents.
Coordinate and facilitate school-wide physical events, such as sports days and fitness challenges.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, support personnel, and school administration.
Engage in staff meetings, professional growth opportunities, and school activities.
Maintain and care for physical education equipment, reporting any maintenance requirements.
Adhere to school policies and prioritize the safety and well-being of students.
